How to survive law school without losing your mind

Books from Law Library Practical Skills Collection

Time is your most precious resource

Time Management

The Pomodoro Technique

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step

  • Break the project down in to manageable chunks.
  • Make a check list.
  • Stop and give yourself a treat when you finish a piece of the project.
  • If you don't meet a goal, forgive yourself and get back on task.

Find an accountability partner that you have to check in with on a regular basis.  If you know you will need to tell someone about your progress, you are more likely to accomplish the task.
