Unlike case law and regulations, the United States Code (federal statutes), are much more freely available online. The following are some of the most truthworthy resources:

The United States Constitution

The foundational document of the United States! Visit your Lexis or Westlaw student representatives, they likely have free print versions.

Case Law

While Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg all provide seemingly "free" access to case law during these law schools, these resources are actually quite expensive. Therefore gaining familiarity with other more cost effective resources while in law school will be extremely beneficial in preparation for the real world.

Regulations

Federal regulations can be one of the more time-consuming and confusing resources you use. These two websites provided by the federal government, seek to provide the most up-to-date information, although the may seem less intuitive. Please note: the law library also has copies of the Code of Federal Regulations, but researching this way is particularly difficult and will not be as up-to-date as compared with these resources:
