 legal document This guide describes how to complete various tasks and functions that will assist you in composing briefs and other legal documents.  There are also links to outlining tools, technology training and discounted software available to College of Law community.  Proper formatting is a necessary part of legal writing but it doesn't have to be difficult.  Successfully working with Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat can be as important as bluebooking.

 

Warning:

While the underlying principles are the same and you should get the same functionality regardless of your operating system, there are differences in Word between Windows and Apple.  Both systems should be covered throughout our lined resources but be aware of the difference.
